Im selling my VFR750 FK, which has under 14K genuine miles on the clock!
Quite often described by the press as the best bike ever made, this VFR is the full 105bhp standard swing arm bike, with gear driven cams and legendary reliability. The FJ and FK models have the larger 17 inch front wheel (FG and FH had 16") and larger vales for better power. The later single swingarm machines are heavier, less powerfull and slower!
In Honda Italian red it is in outstanding condition, and comes complete with red goodridge lines all round, a tall smoked screen (original included) scott oiler, headlamp protector, seat hump, givi rear rack, good Avons front and rear, fan madification to regulator (a well known weak spot on the VFR is cooked regs) uprated front progressive springs (originals included) handlebar uplifts (a much more comfortable position but easily removed) colour coded Baglux tank cover and bag. I have fitted a Laser Stainless exhaust which sounds fine!
This bike qualifies for classic insurance, so is cheap to run, and is a gold plated future classic.
The bike has a very small dent to the right upper side of the tank, but you would really have to look to see it. The fairing and other plastic is in excellent condition with one or two bearly noticeable marks. It is otherwise perfect.
They dont show up in this condition and with this mileage very often, so I am asking a very reasonable £1550, and would suggest you look elsewhere if that sounds to steep! Im only selling because I have too many bikes, and this one simply is not getting used enough. But if it dosnt sell Ill put it on SORN and treat it as an investment for the future.
The bike will come with full MOT and tax to the end of July 2007.
If you are looking for a classic VFR capable of touring with the best, outsporting the plastic rockets and good for 100K+, then this is the one!
